Miami as a holiday destination was high on our list of preferred destinations and my wife and kids were looking forward to exploring the place on our next vacation. So we asked our travel agent to book our cheap flights to Miami and carve an extensive itinerary for Miami. Our helpful travel agent told us that Miami is a great place for hang gliding and that the expense of our trip would depend to a large extent on how early we book our flights and hotels and the type of air carrier we choose. We got our flights and hotels really cheap as we had booked our 4D/5N package tour much in advance that included return flights, accommodation, meals and a sightseeing tour of the city. We rested for a day and that gave us fresh energy to explore the city of Miami and the next day we were all set to go.

The first leg of our Miami tour took us to places like Bayside Marketplace, Miccosukee Indian Village, Deering Estate and the Miami Seaquarium that gave us rich insights into the wealth of flora and fauna that Miami has to offer. Another interesting place that we saw was the Parrot Island where we could see a large number of parrots in a vast variety of colors and hues. Our travel agent had also scheduled our trip to Monkey Island as well where we could see a wide variety of monkeys in their natural habitat.

After a tiring day of sightseeing, we decided to have dinner in a fine -dining restaurant and the next day we began our second leg of our journey where we could see beaches like Sunny Isles, Bal Harbour, Haulover, Surfside and South Beach that offered us plenty of opportunities for some adventure and entertainment. Not only could we swim, snorkel, dive and surf in the azure waters of the sea during the day but also indulged in some partying and revelry after sundown.

Touring Miami was definitely a memorable experience and we didn’t feel like leaving the place but the highlight of our tour was the hang-gliding experience we had in one of the hang-gliding clubs of Miami. The adrenalin rush that one gets in this activity is simply unmatched and we would definitely recommend all those who are interested in this adventure sport to visit Miami at least once.
